Sugarcane

Sugarcane at midtown is a very relaxing and fun restaurant. The decoration on the garden makes you feel at home and the dims light make it a romantic restaurant. The menu has a variety of gourmet creations of which I can’t pick a favorite. They offer fun drinks and a raw bar, that I really enjoy. They also keep the place busy, giving it a lounge feel. The service is also very good and the staff really nice. Careful when going there for dinner with no reservations because the place gets really full. It is also a very nice ambience for lunch.

I love the ambience and the music and one of my favorite things to drink there is the cider. Not to mention the amazing food. My ultimate favorite has to be the hotel California burger. They also have the special huge burger that serves 4 people. The are somewhat expensive for a burger place but they do provide a very nice dinning exerience for the costumers.

Crazy about You

Crazy about you is a dinning experience for two. It is a very fun restaurant for you to go with a friend or even better, your significant other. They offer a menu that is supposed to serve two, with an appetizer two entrées and a dessert. And the foods can be mixed and matched. It is fun because the menu is very interactive and you can get distracted just choosing your food. It is also nice to share with someone a meal. They also have wine and other drinks and they are by the bay as well as a very relaxing inside ambience.

Le Tub

Le tub is an open late restaurant at the beach of Hollywood. They are famous for the burgers. They take 45minutes to grill the burgers and if you get there when they are putting them on the grill you will have to endure the wait. But it is worth it. Amazing burger. The place is also very fun and relaxing. It resembles a tree house full of toilets and tubs. I love the decoration it is so intriguing. However there is a very high chance that the birds will poo on you but it’s a risk I’m worth taking.

The food is amazing and the service excellent. I love the fact that it is small and seems like the whole restaurant knows each other. It is very affordable and it is always full for lunch and dinner. They also have very affordable wine and a full bar. it is definitely the best value for your money kind of restaurant.

Sushi House

Sushi House is a Japanese restaurant located in Aventura. I love it there because of the ambience. The place has dim lights with touches of color and white drapes ceiling to floor throughout the white restaurant. You always feel like you are on a night out when there. Not to mention the sushi pizza. It is amazing I can’t leave there without having it. The full bar also offer many drinks. My ultimate favorite has to be the lychetini but they have a large variety. The place is a little over priced but it is perfect for celebrations. ($30-50)

Rack's Italian Kitchen

Rack’s, located on North Miami Beach, is an Italian restaurant known for their pizza. They have a wide variety of wine and a full bar. The music is always relaxing and my favorite is the flat bread and sauce they serve as you walk in. the pizza is very thin and the ambience is my favorite. You can sit by the water or inside. The service is always good there and they serve an amazing Burrata. One of my favorite places to go for lunch. You will probably spend $30 a person.

The Yard House at the Gulfstream

The Yard House is a upscale chain restaurant, however I usually choose the one at the village of Gulfstream. The ambience is very chill and they have an immense selection of beers. The beer tasting is always a surprise and gives you a chance of tasting different beers. They also create combinations with different beers. The macaroni and cheese is a favorite of all and they also have small plates that are perfect to nibble on. It is quite affordable at $30 a person. The perfect place to chat with friends.

Hunan Wok

Hunan Wok is a fast Chinese restaurant located at Sheridan, Broward County. It is a small place with around 10 tables that operates like a fast food restaurant. Although very simple and extremely affordable I consider it the best place to eat dumpling. The dumplings there are amazing. You can’t afford not to try them. All the food comes with rice and the appetizers are also very delicious. My favorite is the beef teriyaki. There is something about their sauce that always makes people come back for more. You can eat too much food for $12 dollars a person.

Miller’s Boynton Ale house

Ale house is a chain restaurant that is every where. You can find one in every neighborhood. However the Boynton beach one has a little special touch to it. Of course it carries the franchise name and menu however there is something about the space that makes it different. It’s the DJ the atmosphere and the size of the house. Not to mention the fun games. They actually feature a lobster catching machine. If you are able to catch the lobster they will cook it for free. When up north and in need of a quick bite go by the ale house.

Casa Juancho

Casa Juancho is a traditional Spanish restaurant located in the heart of calle ocho. The atmosphere takes you directly to Spain as well as the Jamon exposed opens your appetite. My all time favorite there is the Pulpo a la gallega and the mejillones a vapor. The jamon, of course is a must as an appetizer. They feature Spanish wines as well as a full bar. The specials are always fresh and they are also available for events. The pricing is correlated with what you choose to eat, you can have an expensive meal or a cheaper one by your choice making it an ecletic restaurant.

Grill on The Alley

“The Grill on the Alley was opened in 1984 as a living tribute to the great American grills of yesterday. In time, it has established itself as one of the country's leading restaurants, praised by writers across the country. The menu is classic American grill - prime steaks, fresh seafood, traditional dishes such as chicken pot pie or meatloaf and mashed potatoes, and homemade desserts. Named to The Fine Dining Hall of Fame by Nation's Restaurant News, The Grill is home of the entertainment industry's "power lunch," but is also open for dinner seven days a week.”

I can attest to the above statement referring to the grill on the alley. A family favorite and always our pick for lunch. The menu is features seafood and other grill favorites but my favorite has to be the Chillean sea bass with spinach. It melts on your mouth. If around Aventura mall there is no doubt this should be your pick. The bill will be from $30 to $50 a person.

Makoto

Makoto, is a Japanese restaurant located in Bal harbor, it has two outside seating areas and a very relaxing ambience. They feature small plates with Japanese delicatessen and an interesting cocktail menu. Not to mention the dessert menu that features specialties I haven’t seen anywhere before. I can vow for the sashimi there and the kobe beef tataki. I have tried most if the appetizers and drink and I have enjoyed every experience I had there.
Makoto is not easy on the pocket and can be very expensive but it is definitely worth it for a special occasion or for a splurging day.

Yakko-san

Yakko-san is the authentic Japanese restaurant. Not your regular sushi place it actually features real Japanese cuisine. Fresh whole fish, ikamura, toro and other specials. They still carry a small sushi menu. But the winner is the appetizers. Now with a full bar and a large sake selection. The spicy tuna harumaki and the spicy shrimp mayo are must haves. Not to mention the udon. I can actually say that I have tried 80% of the menu and was never dissapointred. The venue is also open late, till 3 am. Making it the late night go to place.

Paquitos

Paquito’s, located in North Miami Beach, provides you with authentic home style Mexican cuisine. The carne assada and the flautas are amazing. As well as the tequila menu that consists of many brands. The margarita selection is also impressive. It is definitely the place to go for a fun night out. They have karaoke nights, trivia nights and many other fun events. The decoration is the final touch for the ambience, which is very rustic. One of my favorite places for sure.
Not to mention the fact that it is very easy on the pocket.

Open Plaza Hollywood 1935

This adorable restaurant/vintage store is located in Hollywood Blvd, up north. It is a charming place decorated with vintage furniture and un-matching chairs. The whole place is in a way hoarders goes right. It is very cozy and the decoration will keep you entertained for the whole time. The Menu features breakfast, and small snacks as well as a few entrees. It is the perfect place to have coffee and catch up. They have daily special features that combine wine and snacks that are the perfect combination. Not to mention the very affordable price range. The specials cost around 20 dollars and you can share and have a glass of wine each.
Inside they carry a few vintage items that are for sale and the atmosphere is very informal, that makes the place even better. I would recommend and visit this place again.
